Rakesh Rajdev belongs to Rajkot, Gujarat. He is a famous businessman and philanthropist of the state. He is the owner of the three-star hotel Roma Kristo Hotel in Dwarka, partner in 5-star hotel Courtyard by Marriott; and runs several companies such as APM Intl DMCC, APM Capital and APM Bullion in Dubai.

Apart from being a successful businessman he also works as an active social worker. He started a charity and social welfare organization namely Kanuda Mitr Mandal in November 2011. With his social welfare organization, he helped several people and families.

For school-going children – Rakesh Rajdev always believed that increasing the literacy rate is important for the country’s growth. Hence for about 8000 needy students, he offered educational kits. He offered school bags, lunch boxes, water bottles, notebooks and other necessary stationery things for students from Grade 1 to Grade 9.

During the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, many people got highly affected due to the lockdown. Hence to support the people in society, he helped them in many ways. Labourers are the most pitiful class in society. Hence, he offered them financial support to them. For about 50000 labourers he offered food packages, grocery packages and sanitizers by 34 trains.

Also, during that time the medical centres and hospitals were filled with COVID-19 positive patients. Hence they required some help to continue the treatment. Hence Shri Rakesh Rajdev offered beds, testing kits, sanitizers and other necessary medical equipment to help these centres. Apart from these, he also arranged luxurious rooms for the front line heroes so that they will take some rest and continue offering support to the people.

Rakesh bhai Rajdev was also kind enough to visit the nearby places and motivate the suffering people and awaken the spirit of living within them.

Rakesh Rajdev has organized various programs and events to encourage and motivate the special needs people. Whether celebrating festivals with special needs kids or playing Holi with old-age people, the Rajdev family always ensures the special needs people are part of the society.

Financial Aid for Laborers

Labor is the most pitiful class of every society. So, to provide financial support to them, Rakesh Rajdev and his companions worked for their sake.

About 50000 laborers were given food packets and sanitation kits. And this bulk of aid was transferred via 34 trains. At that time, not a single train moved without a single aid.

Besides, it was also a graceful step taken by Rakesh Rajdev that about fifty thousand laborers were sent to their hometown from Rajkot. In this way, they returned to their families safely.
